My first three boxes (180 tablets) of Xyngular AXION (pronounced Action) arrived today. Axion is so new, it hasn’t yet (20110728) been approved for resale in Canada, so my order didn’t ship from Toronto, as is usual, rather, it was shipped directly from Xyngular’s Orlando Florida warehouse in a USPS Priority Mail box.

I’ve been looking forward to:

• getting started on the product
• and also to checking out the new Xyngular Axion packaging.

I’ve just consumed my first two, bi-layer, time-release tabs. I also snapped a quick photo of the impressive packaging.

I Tweet links I find interesting. I haven’t followed the wisdom of marketing gurus, my Tweets are not focused on a single topic. FWIW, my Twitter follower count as of today (20110211) is about 45,000.

Why was I surprised? Well, it’s an SEO (Search Engine Optimization) thing. For starters, the search term wasn’t part of the domain name FrankEves.com, that plus the fact that I’ve only occasionally posted about it in my blog.

Frankly, when I performed the search, I hoped I might see a link to one of these websites:

• http://XyngularSupplements.com <= product focus
• http://1stwealth.com/xyngular/ <= business focus

Did you know that network marketing has seasons? Network marketing seasons vary from country to country, but follow this pattern:

• January to May -fast business building
• June – August – slow
• September to U.S. Thanksgiving – fast
• Thanksgiving to New Year – slow

Bottom line: It’s generally easier to find new network marketing team members when people aren’t on their summer vacation or enjoying the Christmas season.

Q: “Should I wait until September to begin prospecting?”
A: No, there’s never a bad time to make new friends. Summer and Christmas are great times to meet new people.

Bluntly, I’ve grown to dislike the word ‘prospecting,’ at least as it applies to network marketing. It makes me think that your goal is to search for gold in someone’s pockets, rather than developing a mutually beneficial relationship.

Build relationships and the money will follow.

The best network marketing compensation plans have urgency built in, so it really doesn’t matter what time of year it is.
